Belated congratulations are in order for "Bonnie baby" Lionwood Kinsale's Lad R.I.D.. Following on from his Reserve Purebred Performance and Reserve Overall Dressage Championships at the 2007 IDHSNA National Show, "Angus" was named 2007 IDHSNA Year End Awards Dressage Champion. Angus also received the Reserve Champion Year End Award for his successes in-hand in DSHB and breed classes. Angus competed locally in Virginia last year in open dressage classes against horses of all breeds. He received several High Point awards for his Intro and Training Level dressage scores and was named SWVDA Intro Champion of the Year. Well done to trainer Anna Sprecher and owner Ken Haley for their continued stewardship of this promising young stallion, who so vividly demonstrates that traditional type and talent can come in the same package.
